With the expiration of Measure A looming on the horizon, the Sacramento Transportation Authority placed a measure on the November 2004 ballot to renew the Measure for 30 more years after the original measure expires. Voters overwhelmingly approved the new Measure A, with more than 75 percent of voters in favor of it.
Work is progressing in preparation for New Measure A to begin April 2009.
