Meet the Team Behind STA

While STA's mission is centered on improving transportation throughout Sacramento County, that work is made possible by a dedicated team committed to transparency, collaboration, and public service. We are pleased to introduce the staff members who help advance STA's programs, partnerships, and strategic initiatives every day.

 

Kevin Bewsey, Executive Director 
Kevin leads the Sacramento Transportation Authority and works closely with the Governing Board and regional partners to advance transportation investments, funding strategies, and programs that improve mobility throughout Sacramento County. His focus is on delivering measurable results, fostering collaboration, and ensuring taxpayer resources are used effectively.

 

Dustin Purinton, Chief Financial Officer 
As STA's Chief Financial Officer, Dustin leads the agency's financial planning, budgeting, and reporting functions. He works closely with staff, partner agencies, and leadership to ensure resources are managed responsibly and aligned with STA's mission of improving transportation throughout Sacramento County.

 

Jennifer Doll, Special Programs Manager 
Jennifer manages several of STA’s key programs and special initiatives, including the SacMetro Freeway Service Patrol (FSP) program, regional coordination efforts, stakeholder engagement, and agency communications. She works closely with local agencies, consultants, and transportation partners to support programs and projects that make a positive difference for travelers throughout Sacramento County.
