2026 SACOG Regional Funding Round Training

The image features logos (STA, SACOG) and hands surrounding a stack of money, symbolizing collaboration in funding or support.

The Sacramento Transportation Authority (STA), in partnership with its consultant Jacobs, is providing grant training for Sacramento County, cities, transit providers and others  planning to pursue funding through SACOG’s upcoming Regional Funding Program (federal funding round). This $203 million funding round is the first to include all six counties in the SACOG region, and STA anticipates a highly competitive cycle.

SACOG Regional Funding Program Information

When Measure A was approved by Sacramento County voters in 2004, STA was charged with seeking the maximum available state and federal funding for transportation improvements. Consistent with that mandate, STA is offering this training to strengthen application quality, improve strategic positioning, and increase Sacramento County’s ability to secure a fair share of available funds.
